A furnished room is available for rent for a student or a short term visitor, WITH MEALS provided. Ideally one month minimum, three months maximum, or one semester if student; shorter or longer periods considered if the "fit" is right. In a double loft apartment, with an English-speaking non-smoking family (French also spoken). The room is semi-independent (the bedroom is separate from the main family living quarters). Share the bathroom, a large fully-equipped kitchen, the living room and the dining room. The downstairs WC is predominantly for the lodger's use. The bedroom is on two levels, with a living/study area below (13 m2) and a built-in mezzanine sleeping area (7 m2). Divan-type bed (can use as sofa or a single or a double bed, with storage drawers); a chest of drawers; a built-in closet; a desk; an easy chair. Use of laundry facilities; Wifi and TV available. Unlimited calls to Europe and North America at certain hours. The loft is in the back of a courtyard and is very quiet. There is a cat. The lodger must be a non-smoker and have no dietary restrictions. Strong preference for a native English speaker, or perfectly bi-lingual English/French.

Location: Clichy la Garenne, only 1 métro stop over the Paris border (line 13). Other close transportation: RER C, SNCF line St Lazare, bus direct to La Défense, other buses into Paris.

750 EUR/month, all inclusive. If shorter than one month, rate to be negotiated.
