Listen and soon you'll hear the birds...and feel the energy of earth all around you. As I drove over the bridge through the plane trees from Mirabel du Baronies, we traveled about 3 miles then turned onto D516 for another 2 miles heading to Piegon. With GPS in hand...I spotted the sign to Piegon, took a sharp left and bigger than life, we set our eyes one of the most amazing carvings i've seen in the country side. Stop the car, I yelled to my husband Dick. This is too good to be true. Is this Piegon? We veered the car toward the office of le Marie (mayor). The answer: Yes.

Photo of this special Mas Provencal will speak for itself. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a solarium, dining area, a sweet little kitchen a study, office and sitting room, terraces galore and a pool. Designed for shorter folks than me (in some areas), I had to watch my head where massive beautiful original beams draped overhead. The kitchen door opened onto a lovely terrace that lead up to a gorgeous pool enveloped by a beautiful umbrella pine and old palm tree. Can you believe it, yes a palm in the middle of north Provence.

The house had all original hearths and beams and was tastefully enhanced with some amenities of today. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, microwave, full sized oven and refrigerator. The solarium has its own sound system and gorgeous fireplace. This was definitely a home that was not just rented, simply let out in the summer for 1 to 2 month (15 days at a time).
