This lovely “cottage” under the Parisian rooftops comprises 70 square meters, (though around 50m2 livable because of slanting roof), has 2-bedrooms, one bath and is located in the 3rd arrondissement, on the 4th French floor walk up of a 18th-century building/town manor house, and it sleeps 4 people.
The 30m2 living room (20m2 livable) is a cottage flooded with light. Open beams abound throughout the apartment, and especially this room, as well as windows, with two on the street-side of the living room, and two, of which one high in the ceiling, on the courtyard side of the apartment. The room is comfortably furnished with a large dining table capable of seating 4 to 6 comfortably, couch, chairs, floor cushions, a single bed, lamps, end tables, built-in shelves and rugs. This room also has the television (cabled) and a high speed internet connection.
The 15m2 (10m2 liveable) master bedroom has two windows facing the street. It is furnished with: a double bed, chest of drawers, a large double built-in wall closet, chair and lamps.
The 10m2 second bedroom (6m2 liveable) has one single bed, and a window facing the courtyard, with view on the arbored courtyard, further adding to a countryside feeling. It is furnished with: a single bed, night table, lamps, built-in shelf and double wall closet, as well as a small chest of drawers and mirror.
The kitchen is fully equipped. It also has two full windows giving on to the street, (with window benches), which add further light to the rest of the apartment. This room has a breakfast table for up to three people, oven, microwave, 4 electric burners, extractor Hood, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, washing machine, and all kitchen utensils, built-in cupboards and shelves.
Location: This apartment could not be in a better position in the Marais, just near the rue de Bretagne and its many Parisian shops: butcher, bakeries, cheese shop, fresh fish, as well as the famous “Marché des Enfants Rouge” open-air market with fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as caterers. Bistros and cafés also dote every corner, with terraces full of fashionable Parisians, watching fashionable Parisians pass by. For the shopper looking for unique cloths, many young creators have chosen this particular part of the Marais for their boutique.
