Just 15 drive from Angouleme-Cognac airport
Just opened it's gates April 2008 for those flying with Ryanair from Stanstead.
Alternatively, Limoges & Poitiers are under 1 hours drive.
Claddagh Cottage is ideally situated for exploring the Charente in search of your dream home.
It offers peace & tranquility, room to roam, great views - yet only 10 minutes drive from the N10 interchange at Mansle.
Claddagh cottage is set in our own private grounds - 4 acres in total.
Having lived here now for 5 years, we can also offer practical advice to help you on your way toward your new life in France.
Guests staying have exclusive use of 2 private sun terraces, ample garden furniture, tables & sunloungers & not forgetting our 15' above ground round pool. There is alo a BBQ.
Local village amenities are just 5 minutes away & larger supermarkets within 10 minutes.
The cottage has a ground floor double bedroom, next to the shower room & toilet, which has a built in hand basin, roomy shower space, toilet, shaver/hairdryer point (hairdryer inc) & oil filled radiator when needed.
The large L shape mezzanine bedroom has a double, 2 single beds and ample hanging/storage space.
Lounge/diner with wood burner has a sofa, 2 armchairs, TV, DVD with english satellite and also a good selection of films to watch.
The dining area has a large table/chairs & dresser to seat 6.
The well equipped kitchen has a full gas cooker, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment & ample pots/pans/crockery & utensils. There is also a iron & board.
The washing machine is available in the barn opposite if needed.
All bedding & linen provided (except beach/pool towels)
A complimentary food basket is supplied on arrival.
The second smaller lounge is on the upper floor with great views across the open countryside. It has a cane sofa & armchair, coffee table and a bookcase packed with books.
There is also a selection of board games, cards and a CD/tape player - please feel free to bring your own favourites.
