Henri Matisse "Teeny" (1938 1st edition)
Medium: original linoleum cut. A fine impression on wove paper, executed in 1938 for XXe Siecle (No. 4). A later edition was also issued by XXe Siecle in 1959, but this is the original, first edition Matisse linocut. Sheet size 12 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches. Signed in the block (not by hand). $800

Henri Matisse "Odalisque sur fond rouge"
Medium: pochoir (after the painting). A fine impression on wove paper with bold, rich color. Executed in 1929 under the supervision of Matisse for Florent Fels and published in Paris by Editions Chroniques du Jour in an edition of 500. Image size: 6 1/8 x 8 3/4 inches (155 x 225mm); minor age-toning to the paper. Signed in the plate, not by hand. Seldom seen on the market. $1500

Henri Matisse "Femme au chapeau"
Medium: lithograph. Printed by Mourlot and published in Paris by Teriade for Verve (Volume 1, Number 5-6), in 1939. Verve was founded in 1937 to showcase original lithographs by the leading artists of the day, with outstanding technical quality. Size: 14 x 10 1/4 inches (sheet); minor age-toning to the paper. There is another print on verso, as published. Signed by Matisse in the plate (not by hand). $300

Henri Matisse "La Danse"
Medium: lithograph. Published in Paris by Teriade for Verve (Vol. 1, No. 4) in 1938, and printed by Mourlot. Verve was founded in 1937 to showcase original lithographs by the leading artists of the day, with outstanding technical quality. Size: 14 x 21 inches (sheet) with center fold and other designs on verso, as published. Unsigned. Collector's note: this Matisse print is hard to find intact and uncut. Many impressions were ruined when back issues of Verve were bound together. $800

Henri Matisse (Découpage)
Medium: Lithograph (after the découpage). Impression on wove paper, executed for the hard-to-find XXe Siecle (No. 4), published in Paris in 1954 by San Lazzaro. Sheet size 12 3/8 x 9 3/8 inches. Signed by Henri Matisse in the stone, not by hand. $300

Henri Matisse "Harmonie jaune"
Medium: pochoir (after the painting). A fine impression on wove paper with bold, rich color. Executed in 1929 under the supervision of Matisse for Florent Fels and published in Paris by Editions Chroniques du Jour in an edition of 500.
