Arc en Ciel is a 'corner' stone, 18th Century, furnished, renovated country home in le Bourg, across from the village church in a small village near Pontorson.
It is 1,600 square feet -- spacious -- and perfect for one or two people. The environment is country, rural, quiet, and perfect for rest, rejuvenation -- and writers and artists.
It is also a perfect situation if you are looking to buy property and want to first have familiarity of our region.
Great walking/cycling, with countless day trips.
We sit virtually on the Normandy/Brittany border in postal code 50240, and are 15 minutes from the Abbey of Mont St Michel.
It is available for a winter let, 15 November - 15 April, with a three month minimum.
Downstairs: furnished living/dining room with Godin woodstove...two steps up into the fully equipped kitchen, utility room with frig/freezer, washer/dryer, double stainless sink, ironing area, and porte finetre that steps up out onto the west terrace and into the garden.
Full master bath w/ bidet, vintage clawfoot tub, heated towel rack.
Upstairs: Two bedrooms, each with armoire and full bed.
Ensuite/shower off master bedroom w/electric heat.
We are a 3 hour drive from Paris -- or a 3 hour TGV ride from Paris to Rennes. Ferry service from the UK is bountiful.
You will want a car at Arc en Ciel as major commerce is 10 minutes away.
Your Rent: 600 euros, includes high speed wireless internet, phone, CD/Radio and satellite TV. You pay electric and replenish 2 gaz bottles for kitchen and bathroom heater.

This is a wood heated home. We provide the wood.
Weekly cleaning service available upon request.
